Michelle Wilkes
Senior HR/L&D Professional, Executive Coach and Chartered FCIPD
August 2023, Michelle and Stu studied together
Stuart and I have worked together for many years in building both organisational and individual capability. More recently, both of us have qualified as executive coaches with the British School of Coaching, where our focus is on leadership development and building leadership capability.
Stuart is a fantastic executive coach who provides high support/high challenge to all of his executive clients. His commitment and drive for coaching has been demonstrated by him completing 100 coaching hours since he qualified in 2021, which is no mean feat, given he has carried this out in addition to a busy day job.
This commitment to coaching is further evidenced by the fact that is currently undertaking the ICF accreditation process to enable him to become an accredited ICF coach.
Stuart’s passion for coaching is clear not just from his work with his immediate clients, but from his wider work. This is where he blogs about coaching to help others benefit from what he has learnt from his practice and how individuals can apply this with their own self-directed learning.

August 2023, Adam and Stu studies together
I have known Stu for nearly two years now after completing our coaching training together. As a coach it’s important to have a good support network and Stu is an integral part of mine. He has a level headed and calming influence and the way he structures everything, even down to his conversation technique is very reassuring. His own stories of how he has navigated issues are inspiring and he will be a valuable asset to anyone at any level as a Coach.

Career Transition Coach
July 2023, Michael worked with Stu but they were at different companies
Stu was one of the first faces I met when entering the coaching industry and I couldn’t think of a more warmer and positive person to share my coaching journey with. We’ve had numerous conversations of how to best serve others through the power of coaching and Stu’s consistent streak of curiosity has led to a range of insightful and thought provoking conversations which have allowed me to leave with new insights and approaches to better help the clients I serve.
Where I see Stu really come into his own is when dealing with exec and senior professionals specifically on matters arising around confidence, transitions and wider life meaning. He clearly has a strong motivation to help others connect with their dreams, break down elements of imposter syndrome, build resilience and ultimately conquer their confidence.
I am both excited and grateful to have a ring side seat to Stu’s coaching journey as it continues to develop and flourish and hope to be both a friend and associate for many years to come.
