It’s a fair question.

I think it is best answered by both facts and figures and experiences and feelings.

Let’s begin with the facts and figures. Research from the International Coaching Federation shows that:

–  80% of people who receive coaching report increased self-confidence, and over 70% benefit from improved work performance, relationships and more effective communication skills.
–  86% of companies report that they recouped their investment on coaching and more.
–  99% of individuals and companies who hire a coach are “satisfied or very satisfied” and 96% say they would repeat the process.
–  68% of individuals who hired coaches were able to make back their investment. Those who make a financial gain on their coaching can on average expect 3.4 times the amount spent.

Now to the experiences and feelings. Here is what my clients say:

“Stuart has been a huge support in what has been a pretty volatile time in my life. Part of that process was landing a new job and our work around leadership capability was pivotal in helping me to understand what I was looking for and what gaps there were that needed address and/or awareness. He does this with such level-headedness and will always bring you back to what’s important and hold you accountable to key actions.”

“The sessions have allowed me to refresh and refocus in what is a crucial time in my career with the changes that I am about to embark on. Stuart has used thought-provoking questions which are open-ended enough for me to be truly reflective.”

“You let me talk and I felt comfortable to talk as you didn’t come across as judgmental. You put the responsibility on me, for example, with guiding questions – some of them really made me think. I felt motivated as you were encouraging and praised. I left the session with some clear ideas of actions I wanted to take and motivated as you helped me recognise existing strengths.”

“I did a coaching programme with Stuart at a pretty crazy time in my life. I’d just started studying an EMBA and was also due to start a new job and move to a new city. Stuart was amazing at guiding me through the goals we defined – as well as some additional topics that came up – and providing support and resources. He is incredibly empathetic, very structured and I’d highly recommend him as a coach.”

“If you have lofty goals or big ideas and your struggle is breaking them down into bite sized chunks that you can action immediately, I would highly recommend working with Stuart. I have, and it worked for me!”
