‘Work Life Week’ is an annual campaign to get both employers and employees talking about wellbeing at work and work-life balance, running next week from 7-11 October.

I know from personal experience and as a professional coach that this impacts people on a day-to-day basis.

It can feel really challenging managing competing demands across our lives which leads to increased stress levels, burnout, reduced satisfaction and strained relationships – all impacting our physical and mental health.

At an organisational level it can lead to higher turnover, lower satisfaction, reduced productivity and less resilience.

This is why how we find balance/integration/synergy/harmony (call it what you will) in our whole life is so important:

♻️ We need to find the right mix for us as individuals to grow and reach our potential
♻️ We need to think about our personal ~and~ our professional needs and boundaries, not think of them as trade offs
♻️ We need to focus on our wellbeing ~and~ our striving for our goals and ambitions, rather than seeing them as being distinct

HOW COACHING CAN HELP

Coaching can play a key role in supporting you to manage your work-life balance and achieve your potential across your personal and professional life.

I recognise my clients as whole people – a unique blend of their experiences, beliefs, and dreams – supporting them to take a holistic view of their needs and boundaries, creating the space to be more reflective through:

👉🏼 Goals – identifying core values and setting clear, achievable goals that align with their personal and professional aspirations
👉🏼 Prioritisation – allocating time and energy effectively across their lives, in line with what matters most
👉🏼 Productivity – creating a toolkit of effective time management approaches to support productivity habits
👉🏼 Stress management – developing stress management techniques such as mindfulness, meditation, and relaxation exercises
👉🏼 Boundaries – establishing and maintaining clear boundaries across different aspects of life
👉🏼 Resilience – building mental and emotional resilience and ability to adapt to changes and navigate challenges and setbacks more effectively
👉🏼 Support – developing and maintaining robust support systems both at work and home

🔄 Clients leave our sessions with integrated and intentional approaches that help them feel more confident in making decisions across their whole lives – resulting in improved wellbeing, satisfaction, and fulfilment.
