On a recent morning walk, Alba (my pup) and I were greeted by a blanket of fog.

This got me thinking about the phrase ‘to clear the fog’ and how the words are antonyms. You move from one state (the fog) to another (clarity) – which is really what coaching is about.

We live in ambiguous and complex times, globally and locally, personally and professionally. Whether it’s due to shifting market conditions, evolving organisations, or emerging technology, confusion and misunderstandings often arise, leading to stress, indecision, and a lack of focus.

Developing the leadership skills to face today’s challenges is critical for individuals and organisations.

As an executive coach, I support you as a leader to:

⚛️ Embrace a safe, confidential and structured space – taking a step back for thought-processing and reflection

⚛️ Analyse challenges, untangling complex situations to get to the root cause – making sense of competing priorities and gaining a clearer perspective

⚛️ Put voice to thoughts, concerns, and ideas for the way forward – reframing your thinking and understanding opportunities

⚛️ Develop options and make informed, intentional decisions – leading to less confusion and better outcomes

⚛️ Take on next steps with self-assurance – not necessarily having all the answers but developing the confidence to act despite uncertainty

If you’re leading through uncertainty and intricacy, I’d love to help you create space, regain focus, and move forward with purpose.

How are you increasing your impact as a leader in a more uncertain and complex world?
